Helen Louise Plummer, 89, of Hilltopper Drive, Stanford, died Saturday, Feb. 13, at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.

Born Aug. 11, 1920, in Garrard County, she was a daughter of the late Herbert Edward and Osa Coulter Stone. She was a retired employee of American Greetings in Danville and Deco Art in Stanford, a member of the Lancaster Baptist Church and the widow of Carlton Atwood Plummer.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Wilson Stone.

Survivors include a son, Michael Edward (Diane) Poynter, Sr. of Stanford; a stepdaughter, Bonnie (Garnett) Prather of Georgetown; three grandsons, Mike (Betsy) Poynter, Chuck Poynter and Justin (Holly) Poynter; and three great grandsons, Christian, Matthew and Colton Poynter.

Funeral services were Feb. 17, at Ramsey Funeral Home in Lancaster with Rev. Bob Rush officiating. Burial was in Lancaster Cemetery.

Active pallbearers were Mike, Chuck and Justin Poynter, Bill Taylor, Shelby Stone and George Bertram. Honorary pallbearers were Rosie Bertram, Maxine Taylor, Wanda Sanders, Dovie Doss, Bobbie Combs and Jin Marshbanks.
