Obituary: Cecil Smallwood, 85

Cecil Smallwood, 85, of Crab Orchard, died Tuesday, Feb. 9 at his home.
Born Oct. 10, 1923, in Lincoln County, he was a son of the late James Walker and Ida Mae Wilson Smallwood. He was a farmer and the widower of Betty Jane Oakes.
Survivors include a daughter, Jackie A. Hardwick of Stanford; a son, Ronnie Smallwood of Nicholasville; two sisters, Ruth (Sammie) Pence of Stanford and Viola (Ed) May of Liberty; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services were Friday, Feb. 12 at McKnight Funeral Home in Crab Orchard. Burial was in Pine Grove Church of Christ Cemetery.
