Obituary: Larry Joe Wheeler, 34

Larry Joe Wheeler, 34, of Hustonville, died Tuesday Feb. 9 in Lincoln County.
Born Friday, Jan. 23, 1976, in Danville, he was the son of Gerald "Red Dog" Wheeler of New Salem and Tina Rhea of Junction City. He was a 1994 graduate of Lincoln County High School, worked in the Shipping and Receiving Department at American Greetings where he was a member of the Safety and Continuous Improvement Teams, was an Air Force veteran and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church. He was also an avid University of Kentucky fan and a hunter and fisherman.
Other survivors include two daughters, Cheyenne and Rayna Wheeler both of Stanford; and one sister, Sarah Benedict of Junction City.
Funeral services were Feb. 12 at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Moreland with Bros. Kerry Jones and Kyle Young officiating. Burial was in Hustonville Cemetery.
Active pallbearers were Ed Walls, Ronnie Maples, Henry Ewing, Sherman Owens, James Walker and Mike Goode.
