Verdena Faye Rumley died Monday, Feb. 8 in Valencia, Calif.

A native of Waynesburg, she was the daughter of Grandville Young and Flossie Mae Hayes. She was a homemaker and married to Army veteran, SFC Joseph C. Rumley. After her husbandís passing in 1973, she was a realtor in Southern California, where she lived from 1977 until her passing.

Survivors include a daughter, Vickie L. Kidwell and her son, Joseph D. Rumley; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and the families of four sisters and a brother.

Funeral services were Feb 13 at Double Springs Cemetery in Waynesburg,

Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home was in charge.
