Obituary: Eli Wells, 47
February 25, 2010

Eli Wells, 47, of Somerset, died Saturday, Feb. 20 at his residence.

Born in Hazard on Oct. 1, 1962, he was a son of the late Dennis and Edna Trent Wells.

He was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Wells; and two sisters, Mearinda and Jennette Mullins.

Survivors include one daughter, Sandra Duncan of Eubank; companion, Allison Boclair of Somerset; six brothers, Frank Wells of La Grange, Oneil and Ronnie Wells, both of Science Hill, and Raymond, Ellis and Archie Wells, all of Nancy; four sisters, Aleisa Haller, Onette Ledford and Carolyn Tyree, all of Somerset and Oma Kelley of Hazard; three grandchildren, Izayah, Adrianna and Patrick Duncan; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Feb. 23 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home in Science Hill with Bro. Bill Meece officiating. Burial was in Wells Cemetery.
