Obituary: Harvey Lee Daniels, 91

Harvey Lee Daniels, 91, of Stanford, died Monday, March 1 at the Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.
Born Feb. 13, 1919, in Claiborne County, Tenn., he was a son of the late Robert Daniel and Ruth Poore Daniel. He operated an office supply business, was a World War II Army veteran and of the Baptist faith.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Lee Meagher; and brothers, Earl, Roscoe, Esco, F. D. and Roy Daniel.
Survivors include his wife, Phoebe Daniels of Loveland, Ohio; children, Ronald B. (Donna) Daniel of Cincinnati, Ohio and Janet (Leo) Greer of Stanford; one brother, White Daniel of Harrogate, Tenn.; three sisters, Maggie (Charles) Boster of Springfield, Ohio, Inez Shelby of Redford, Mich., and Fern Rains of Middlesboro; grandchildren, Rebecca, Sherri, Jenny and Bobby; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were March 3 at the Creech Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Thompson officiating. Burial was in Green Hills Memorial Gardens with full military honors by American Legion Dewey Guy Post #14 of Middlesboro.
