Patrick Boyd, 48, of Stanford, died Sunday, March 7, at his residence.

Born Friday, March 17, 1961, in Troy, Ohio, he was a son of Raymond E. "Gene" and Nancy Lee Crawford Boyd of Stanford. He was a bricklayer and NASCAR fan.

Other survivors include sons, Shawn (Bethany) Boyd and Chris Boyd; a brother, Todd Boyd; a sister, Tanya (Walter) Gehlhausen; grandchildren, Patrick and Emily Boyd; and a special friend, Lisa Britton Herring.

Funeral services were March 9 at Calvary Hill Baptist Church with Bro. Johnny Adamson officiating.

Following the service, cremation rites were honored.

Ramsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
