Saundra May McWhorter, 54, of Lancaster, died Friday, March 5, at Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.

Born Saturday, Dec. 3, 1955, in Garrard County, she was a daughter of Lorraine Hume Long of Lancaster and the late Paul Mason May and a stepdaughter of the late James E. Long. She was a homemaker and loved reading, gardening, cooking and making crafts.

Other survivors include daughters, Samantha (John Todd) Morgan and Kathy Allison May; brother, Mike Long; and a grandson, Cameron Samuel Morgan.

Graveside services were March 8 at the Lancaster Cemetery.

Ramsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
