Danny Vearl Salyers, 56, of Waynesburg, died Friday, March 5 at his home.

Born Friday, July 31, 1953, in Cincinnati, Ohio, he was a son of Josephine Salyers of Waynesburg and the late Everett Vearl Salyers. He was a mechanic, welder, carpenter, former member of the IBEW and a member of Walltown Christian Church.

Other survivors include a son, Chris (Kelly) Salyers of Williamsburg; and five grandchildren, Tyler, Erin, Jasmine, Madison and Sierra.

Funeral services were March 8 at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home with Bro. Greg Powell officiating. Burial was in Salyers Cemetery with military honors by Caswell Saufley Post #18.
