The IJ welcomes summer intern Devin Wren to its staff as a reporter.
Wren will be writing feature articles, spot news, doing some photography and wants to try his hand at writing editorials as well.
Wren has already contributed his first article, a review of opening night at the Pioneer Playhouse, and shows great potential. You can read his debut article on this page.
Wren spent three semesters on the staff of The Lincoln County Patriot Tribune, the high school’s newspaper, one as co-editor.
Wren graduated from Lincoln County High School in May, and he plans on going to Bluegrass Community Technical College in the fall. Wren hopes to transfer to UK in the future and major in Journalism, Music or Engineering.
Wren was born in Danville and raised in Waynesburg. His parents are April and Donald Gregory. He plays guitar at Journey Community Church.
