Dorothy Ann Killion, 88

Dorothy Ann Killion, 88, of Stanford, KY passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Stanford Health & Rehab Center.
Born July 8, 1928, in Lancaster, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Jake and Ruby Hopper Sheron, and the widow Watt (Bud) Killion. She moved to Nicholasville in 1956, to Nashville in 1966 where she worked at both Nashville Memorial and Madison Hospitals. Upon retirement she moved back to Stanford in 1993. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Faith.
Survivors include one son, Ken Killion (Nancy) of Garden City, Kansas;, two brothers, Raymond Sheron (Beverly) of Elizabethtown and Lindsey Sheron (Betty) of Calhoun, Ga.; two grandchildren, Tommy Killion (Deanna) of Gallatin, Tenn., and Chris Killion of Overland Park, Kansas; three great-grandchildren, Saige Killion of Overland Park, Kansas, and James Killion and Charles Killion both of Gallatin, Tenn.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
 In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Alex Killion; two brothers, Jim Sheron and Robert Sheron; and one sister, Margie Gant.
Funeral services were Tuesday, March 7 at the Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford with Pastor David Clark officiating. Burial followed in Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford.
Active pallbearers were Jimmy Sheron, Mike Sheron, George Killion, Ricky Mullins, Frank Prather and Dr. Nick Kouns.
