Spring sports back in full swing

After a week’s break from action or lengthy road trips south, Lincoln County High School’s spring sports teams return to their regular schedules.
The Bat Patriot baseball team is on the road today at Corbin, but will be back at home Friday for the first of a four-game homestand. Lincoln hosts Wayne Friday at 6 p.m., Pulaski County Saturday at noon, district rival Boyle County Tuesday at 5:30 and West Jessamine on Thursday, April 20, at 6.
The Lady Patriot softball team will be playing host to Boyle in a district game today then hitting the road for Taylor County Friday. The team then hosts Pulaski Tuesday. All start at 6 p.m.
Lincoln’s tennis teams have back-to-back home matches, with Madison Southern coming to LCHS today then Garrard paying a visit on Friday in a makeup match.
The Lady Patriot and Patriot track teams have just one meet scheduled this week. They will be traveling to the Danville All-Comers Meet at Admiral Stadium on Tuesday.
