PARTY IN THE PARK kicks off with big crowd

The biggest crowd yet showed up at First Southern Veteran’s Park in Lincoln County on April 20 to help kick off the annual event series “Party in the Park.”
About 565 people total showed up for the event which consisted of a variety of activities from music and dancing to face painting and games.
Vendors included the Lincoln County Public Library; Early Childhood; Community Early Childhood Council; Board of Education – kindergarten readiness/school health; Lincoln County Solid Waste; and City of Stanford – Siege of 1777.
The next Party in the Park event will be held May 11. (Rain cancels)
