Stephen and Mary Courtiour of Stanford announce the birth of their son, Lukas Paul Courtiour on Wednesday, Sept. 5 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington at 12:43 p.m. He weighed eight pounds, three ounces and measured 19 inches at birth.

Maternal grandparents are Rita (Tim) Morris of Stanford and Joseph Stanley of New Salem. Paternal grandparents are Steve (Tammy) Courtiour of Lexington and the late Jackie Courtiour. Great grandparent is Eva Martin.
