STANFORD — The Lincoln County Relay for Life Committee is hosting its annual Relay for Life Tractor Ride on Saturday, Sept. 29.
There will likely be around 50 tractors involved in this 25-mile fun cross country ride, which is being held in honor of Bo Renfro. A rainbow of tractors from the 1940’s to now will parade through the countryside while raising money for the American Cancer Society and cancer research.
The tractors will leave from Veteran’s Park in Stanford at 10 a.m. and will travel through county roads to Logan-Hubble Memorial Park. There tractor drivers and riders will break for lunch and festivities. The meal is being provided by the Lincoln County Cattlemen’s and Relay Teams.
The cost per person (tractor drivers and riders) is $10 and the meal is included. Children 10 and under ride free. Meal tickets for children are $5. Donations are accepted.
Registration for the tractor ride begins at 8 a.m. the day of the ride and closes at 9:45 a.m.
