The contract has been signed and work will begin on the new pavilion at the old Lutheran Church as soon as the weather opens up. If anyone would like to help with a donation in memory of someone, it can be sent to: Jerry Zwahlen, 4115 KY Hwy. 643, Waynesburg, KY 40489. Make the check payable to LCHS Lutheran Fund, put pavilion in the memo of the check. Anyone donating will have their name put on the plaque that will hang on the wall. The building will be a good place to hold gatherings along with using the church. It will have a restroom and storage on one end. I will let everyone know how it progresses as time goes by.
Gloria Jean, daughter of Dorothy and Morris Saylor passed away last week. She was a very giving person, helping anyone in need and liked by anyone who knew her. She will be greatly missed but well remembered.
Mrs. Elsie Moore passed away. She was the wife of the late Duff Moore. A lot of us knew her and our sympathy is with the whole family.
Congratulations to a wonderful woman, Mildred Clausen, who turned 94 years old a couple weeks ago.
The daughter of Jean Cromer passed away. She lived out of state. We are thinking of the family at this time.
Winter is still here, it snowed. At least it slowed down the rain.
God gives us blessings along with the bad every day. Let us appreciate what we have and get in our daily lives. Have a good day.
