Second Street Christian Church will hold a Sunrise Service on Sunday, April 21 at 7 a.m. Elder Christopher Simpson, associate minister of Boneyville Baptist Church will be the guest preacher. Rev. Dennis Miller is the pastor.
Pleasant Valley Baptist Church, Boone’s Creek will also hold a Sunrise Service at 7 a.m. on Sunday, April 21. Bishop Joseph Shea Brown is the pastor. Breakfast will be served at both of these services.
Easter programs will be held at Boneyville Baptist Church and Bethel A.M.E. Church following the morning worship services on Sunday.
An Usher Day Service will be held at Boneyville Baptist Church on Sunday, April 28 at 3 p.m. Bishop Shea Brown and congregation of Boone’s Creek Baptist Church will be the guests. Elder Robert Coulter, Jr., is the pastor and Mrs. Sara Givens is the president.
On Tuesday, April 30 at 7 p.m., there will be a Men’s Fellowship meeting at the South Maple Street Baptist Church in Somerset. All men of the South District Association are invited to come. Rev. Yusef Franklin is the host pastor.
Sympathy is extended to the family of Mrs. Madge Vandiver of Crab Orchard.
The Watoto African Children’s Choir will put on a full line program on Thursday, April 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Stanford Baptist Church. The public is invited to attend.
