Esthel “Shorty” Cooper of Hustonville celebrated his 101st birthday on Friday, May 10, 2019 at a party hosted by his daughter, Beverly Cooper Hurst, at the Winfield Municipal Building in Winfield, Tennessee.

Cooper is a farmer in the Mount Salem community in Lincoln County and formerly lived in Oneida, Tennessee.

Among those attending the birthday celebration were Janice and Ronald Baird and Raymond and Betty Ann Turner from the Mount Salem community.
