Patriot Basketball Camp wraps up at LCHS

STANFORD — Lincoln County boys basketball coach Jeff Jackson and his staff devoted the last week of May to instructing young basketball players, providing tips on shooting, defense and other fundamentals during the annual Patriot Basketball Camp.
The camp was conducted May 28-31 at Lincoln County High School and was open to young athletes in kindergarten through eighth grade.
The daily sessions, directed by Jackson and assistant coaches Shawn Conley, Skyler Gilbert and Brad Petrey, ran from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. and featured individual fundamental instruction, group play, self-improvement programs, free throw competition, hot shot competition, special guest lecturers and more.
Over 70 hopeful hoopsters registered for this year’s camp and each received a camp t-shirt.
