STANFORD – Lincoln County Sheriff’s Deputy Michael Mullins and his K9 partner Luma are asking for the public’s help to win a brand new Chevy Tahoe.
Mullins entered the team in the annual contest, which is sponsored by Vested Interest in K9s, Inc. and awards the lucky winner with a brand new Chevy Tahoe SUV, complete with a police pursuit package. The vehicle will also be customized for a K9 unit.
Mullins and Luma have been named finalists in the contest and now they’re looking to the public to help them become the overall winners of the new ride.
Public voting began Oct. 1 and will continue through 7:59 a.m. on Oct. 31. The winner will be the K9 team who garners the most eligible votes by the deadline.
The public can cast one vote per day for Mullins and Luma, up until the Oct. 31 deadline.
“Thank you all so much for the support,” Mullins said this week. “Luma will sure appreciate your support.”
