After spending the holidays on the road in various tournaments, the Lincoln County High School Lady Patriot and Patriot basketball teams return to their home hardwood Saturday to host the annual Patriot Classic.

The day-long tournament will feature six games, with girls and boys teams representing Bullitt East, Campbellsville, Danville, Madison Central, Mercer County, Rockcastle County, Rowan County, Wayne County and Webster County, as well as Lincoln participating in the Sean Slusher/WPBK Bank sponsored event.

The games will alternate girl/boy beginning at noon. The day’s schedule is:

Noon (Girls) – Bullitt East vs. Mercer Co.

1:30 p.m. (Boys) – Madison Central vs. Danville.

3 p.m.  (Girls) – Rowan Co. vs. Rockcastle Co.

4:30 p.m. (Boys) – Rowan Co. vs. Wayne Co.

6 p.m. (Girls) – Lincoln Co. vs. Webster Co.

7:30 p.m.(Boys) – Lincoln Co. vs. Campbellsville.

Admission is $6 and covers all games.

The Lady Patriots and Patriots will both play their first game of the new year at home the night before the Patriot Classic.

The Lady Patriots will host Anderson County at 4 p.m. Friday night and the Patriots will follow with a tripleheader with Great Crossing of Scott County. The boys varsity tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
