Anyone wishing to show their support to make Stanford wet will have the opportunity to put their signature on the petition this weekend.

On Friday and Saturday, Jan. 24 and 25, a table will be set up outside Walmart on U.S. 27 in Stanford.

Mike Hargis, who started the push to allow alcohol sales in Stanford, said the table will be set up throughout the day.,

If you wish to sign the petition but can’t make it to Walmart those two days, you can sign the petition at the Trading Post on Lancaster Street or you can call Mike Hargis at 606-282-3794 and he will make a petition available to you.
