Drugs, money seized in traffic stop

Lincoln County Deputy Brian Cloyd made a traffic stop near Waynesburg Sunday night that turned up money and drugs.
Cloyd made the stop on US 27 south just after 10 p.m. Sunday, and upon further investigation, deputies located three baggies of suspected methamphetamine, two digital scales, a loaded firearm, $2,382 in cash, as well as marijuana, various narcotics, and other drug paraphernalia items.
The owner of the vehicle was arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance (methamphetamine); trafficking in marijuana, less than 8 ounces; possession of controlled substance (3rd degree); possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; possession of drug paraphernalia; illegal possession of a legend drug; and prescription not in proper container.
