LCHS graduation, prom set dates for in-person events

Lincoln County High School has announced its plans for 2020-21 graduation and prom. Graduation will be held on Friday, May 28, at the LCHS gymnasium and prom will be on Saturday, May 8, at the Danville Showroom.
There will be two graduation services to safely accommodate the graduates and their guests. The first service will begin at 4 pm and the second service will be at 7 p.m. on the same day. Graduates will be split in half, alphabetically by their last name to determine which time slot they will be in. Each graduate will be permitted to bring four guests to graduation. These seats will be grouped together in pods.
All participants will be required to wear a face covering at all times and follow all CDC and Lincoln County Health Department guidelines.
Both ceremonies will be live-streamed and recorded for publication on the Lincoln County Schools YouTube Channel (LC Communications).
The date for prom has also been set. It is scheduled to be on May 8th at the Danville Showroom. Juniors and their dates will attend from 6-8 p.m. Seniors and their dates will attend from 9 p.m. to midnight. Tickets for prom will be available to be purchased through GoFan.
