Shirley Hopkins Turner, 95, of Crab Orchard, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, October 12th, 2021 at her home while surrounded by her family. She was the widow of Robert A. Turner who preceded her in death on February 11, 1987. Shirley was born December 29, 1925, the daughter of the late Bill and Rosie Ellen Brock Hopkins. She was a member of Valley Baptist Church. She was a loving mother and homemaker. She loved and adored her family. She enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved to work with her flowers especially her poppies. She also enjoyed going to Goodwill and yard sales.

Survivors Include Her Children: Louise Whitaker; Bob Turner; Jesse Turner & Wife, Shirley; Gerald Turner & Wife, Karen; Rita Martzall & Husband, Marvin; Elisha Turner & Husband, Donnie; Kay Wilson & Husband, Herb; Daughter in Law, Dana Turner; 15 Grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren & 1 Great Great Grandchild; and a Special Family Friend, Hazel Herbert
In addition to her husband Robert and Parents, Bill and Rosie Ellen Brock Hopkins, she was preceded in death by a Son, Edgar Turner; Two daughters in law, Sherry & Bonnie Turner; Son in law, Charles Whitaker; Her Twin Sister, Pearlie Hopkins; Sister, Merlie Brummett; Two Grandsons, Darryl Sokol and Bobby Gene Turner and Six Brothers, John, Zack, Ernest, Robert, Henry & Jesse Hopkins.

Funeral Date and Time: 1:00 PM, Friday, October 15th, 2021 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony Shelton officiating. Burial was in the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation was held on Thursday, October 14th, at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel.
Pallbearers were Edgar Lee, Shane & Duane Turner, Angie & Roy Gillispie, and Ray Fletcher. Honorary Pallbearers:
were Rick Creech, David Martzell, Steven Eversole, Nathan Creech & Casey Allen.
