Amanda Pruitt, a local doctor of physical therapy, is hosting a Senior Health Fair to celebrate National Senior Health & Fitness Day.

It will be held at Boyle County Senior Center (A Gathering Place) in Danville on Wednesday, May 25 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. There will be balance screenings, food/drink samples, blood pressure checks, fall prevention education, and exercise and equipment demonstrations. People can learn about local resources and meet local providers.

Pruitt is also hosting Parkinson’s Support Group meetings every month. The May meeting will be in the Boyle County Library basement on Thursday, May 26 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.
