The Lincoln County Board of Education has approved the 2022-23 budget for the district. A 3% raise for all classified and certified staff was included in the approved budget. This raise will go into effect starting July 1.

The board voted to hire an architect to begin designs on connecting the McGuffey Building to the main building on the campus of Lincoln County Middle School, thus creating a safer enclosed campus for 6th-8th grade students.

They also voted to begin designs of a new press box at the football stadium and continued talks regarding the renovation/construction of the field house located at the football field. More planning and discussion of this project is expected to take place at the next board meeting.
