Dillingham steals the show in UK’s Blue-White game

It was a big night for Kentucky in the Blue-White scrimmage Saturday night at Truist Arena on the campus of Northern Kentucky University.
Rob Dillingham scored 40 points to lead the Blue team to a 100-89 win over the White squad. Dillingham added five rebounds and dished out seven assists.
Adou Thiero followed Dillingham with 26 points and just missed a double-double with nine rebounds. Thiero turned in a solid performance after tweaking his ankle in the Big Blue Madness last Friday at Rupp Arena.
Dillingham and Jordan Burks combined for 60 points, while Reed Sheppard added eight and Joey Hart scored six for the blue squad.
Justin Edwards led the White team with 26 points, followed by D.J. Wagner with 25. Veteran Antonio Reeves added 17 points despite connecting on just one 3-pointer on nine attempts.
Dillingham, Burks, Edwards and Wagner combined for 111 points in the annual scrimmage.
The Wildcats were without their three post players. Aaron Bnadshaw and Ugonna Onyenso are recovering from injuries, while Zvonimir Ivisic took warmup shots but didn’t participate in the scrimmage.
For the second year in a row, the scrimmage was at a neutral site to raise money for the flood victims in Eastern Kentucky. UK scrimmages Georgetown College on Friday at 7 p.m. in Rupp Arena.
