It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we mourn the passing of Zachary “Tyler” Wayne Jones, known affectionately to many as ‘Big Jonesy.’ Tyler Jones passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. Born on February 2, 1997, in Danville to Jerry Manier and Emily Jones Manier. He was a charismatic soul who brought love and joy to every room he entered. His warm, loving nature and infectious smile left a lasting impression on all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Tyler was a graduate of Lincoln County High School, Class of 2015, and a proud member of the Lincoln County Patriots football team. His passion for life was evident in his many hobbies, including football, basketball, fishing, and cooking. He had a special knack for bringing people together; his home was always filled with laughter, music, and the delicious smells of his latest culinary creation that he would add with a little twist. Tyler was a people person who had countless friends and was loved by everyone he met.

Tyler is survived by his loving wife, Taslynn Jones of Danville; loving parents, Jerry and Emily Manier; his little one, Deseree; his siblings, Ashton Manier (Danie) and Callie Manier; his maternal grandparents, Jackie and Bertie Jones, and paternal grandfather, Jerry Patrick Manier; three uncles, Jackie, Richard, and Chuck Jones; his cousin, Johnny Jones, who he considered a brother; and numerous friends and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by an unborn child, paternal grandmother, Diane Manier; maternal great-grandparents, Velt and Anna Jones; and his uncles, Edward Jones and Melvin Jones.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 29, 2024, from 5:00 pm to 8:00 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home, 411 West Main Street, Stanford, Kentucky, 40484. The funeral service will follow on Friday, March 1, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY

His life was a testament to the power of love and friendship, and his memory will continue to inspire us all. As we remember Tyler, let us celebrate his life and the joy he brought to each of us. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
