Summer break is just around the corner, and when school is out, art is in! The Art Center of the Bluegrass in Danville offers summer camps full of artistic exploration for children from 4 years to 12th grade beginning May 28.
Kids headed into 1st through 5th grades will experience the fusion of science and art at our full-day Art Lab Camp, May 28-31. Dive into experimentation with various materials and techniques in a supportive environment where kids explore, tinker, and create while discovering the magic of creativity, a hint of music, and the thrilling intersection of art and science.
June 3-7 is Art Skills Camp for kids rising into 1st through 5th grades. This camp will enhance artistic skills and abilities through hands-on activities, guided lessons, and a supportive environment. Explore drawing and painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, and more.
Fairies and Mermaids Mini Camp is June 4 and 6. Youngsters ages 4 to 6 will explore the wonders of fairies and mermaids through imaginative crafts and whimsical activities. From crafting fairy wings to creating mermaid treasures, this mini-camp is a magical journey of creativity and fantasy.
