Some 50 boys and girls took part in the first Lincoln County football camp conducted by coach Levi Rogers last week.
Rogers, a 2008 Lincoln graduate who was named the Patriots’ coach in February, led the camp along with his assistant coaches and many of his players.
“I have a good time doing it. I like seeing all the young guys get out here,” Rogers said.

Rogers said members of his extended family were among those attending the two-day camp that allowed players in grades K-6 to work on technique and skills.
