CRAB ORCHARD – Main Street was a busy place Saturday as vendors and spectators packed the city to enjoy the annual Independence Day celebrations in Crab Orchard.
The two-day event kicked off Friday with the Miss Crab Orchard pageant, a classic car cruise-in, a cornhole tournament and live music from the Honky Tonk Revival band.
Saturday’s festivities started with the annual country ham breakfast, followed by a car show and the annual Independence Day Parade.
The parade drew a crowd and featured military vehicles, police and fire vehicles, classic cars, tractors, horses, floats and more.
Saturday’s events ended with more live music from Donovan Howard and the Amigos and the Insane Outlaws.
