Stanford Police were dispatched to Dairy Queen on May 29 at about 4:30 p.m. after Sanchez had reportedly stabbed a coworker in the throat and abdomen and injured another coworker during the struggle.

The juvenile victim was treated by EMS and transported to a local hospital before being airlifted to a different medical facility with serious injuries.

“Sanchez advised the other employee was giving her strange looks and she did not like it,” the citation states.

Sanchez left the restaurant and traveled to her residence on Goshen Cutoff where she allegedly retrieved the knife. She told police this had been going on for a while and that when she went home to get the knife that it was her intention to return to the restaurant and kill the other employee to stop the evil, according to the arrest citation.

She was indicted by a grand jury on July 12. Her bond has been set at $100,000. Her next court appearance is scheduled for 10 a.m. Aug. 9. James Mayfield testified for the Stanford Police Department.
