Lincoln County kids got a chance to meet a live shark last week at an event hosted by the Lincoln County Public Library (LCPL).
The informative event was brought to Lincoln County by the Wave Foundation at Newport Aquarium with over 50 kids and adults in attendance.
Presenters shared a multitude of facts about sharks and their role in the environment, as well as how everyone can help to reduce pollution.
Following the program, everyone was invited to get an up close look at a live shark.
