Jerry David Genton, 71, of Waynesburg, Kentucky passed away Friday, October 4th, 2024 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Hospital in Danville, Kentucky. Husband of Rita Ann Asher Genton, whom he married on September 23, 1970. Born March 19, 1953 in Stanford, Kentucky, the son of the late Mike and June Hoskins Genton. He was a member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. He was a farmer and retired printer for RR Donnelley’s in Danville. Jerry loved his family, friends, neighbors, and each of his school classmates. Jerry also loved working on the family farm and taking care of his livestock and spoiling his border collie, Abby. Abby would hardly let him operate the tractor by himself. Jerry never met a stranger and was quick to tell you how blessed of a man he had been during his life.

Place: McKnight Funeral Home Chapel, 147 Main Street, Crab Orchard, Kentucky

Place of Burial: Piney Grove Cemetery, Brodhead, Kentucky
Visitation will be held from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel
