Ronal “Ronnie” Sharp II, 66, of Stanford, KY passed away at home on Monday, March 10, 2025. Born on June 2, 1958 in Danville, KY to the late Ronal, Sr. And Ernestine Bryan Sharp.
Ronnie was a 1976 graduate of Danville High School and went on to earn a degree from the University of Kentucky. He enjoyed Kentucky sports, the Cincinnati Reds, golfing, and cracking jokes.
Survivors include his wife, Tammy Yates Sharp of Stanford; one son, Ronal “Ronnie” Sharp III (Jenna); two sisters, Judy Burton of Windsor, KY and Beth Sharp of Stanford; two nephews, Bryan Sharp and David Burton; and one niece, Sarah Burnley.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ronal and Ernestine Sharp.
A one-day service will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford, KY. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Memorial Gardens in Danville, KY.
