Bryant-Adams Family reunion
The Bryant-Adams Family reunion will be Sunday, July 1 at 1 p.m. at Grove Ridge Baptist Church on Highway 501. A basket lunch will be served. All family and friends are welcome.

Lincoln County Fair Floral Hall
Lincoln County Fair Floral Hall exhibits can be entered on Monday, July 2 between 9-11:30 a.m. Flower and garden exhibits can be entered on Thursday, July 5 between 9-11:30 a.m. Fair catalogs, entry tags, and pre-registration is available at the Lincoln County Extension Office. The Floral Hall is open every night Monday-Friday from 6-10 p.m. Senior citizens are invited to visit the Floral Hall on Friday, July 6 between 10-11:30 a.m. This is free and refreshments will be served. Upward Basketball Camp
Upward Basketball Camp at Stanford Baptist Church Christian Life Center, July 23-27, 6-8 p.m. K-5 – 6th grade boys and girls. Registration fee is $40. Registration date is Friday, July 13, 5-7 p.m. in the Christian Life Center. World’s Greatest Baby Shower
Expecting moms and moms with children three and under are invited to the World’s Greatest Baby Shower on Thursday, July 12 from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at the Lincoln County Public Library. Please RSVP by Friday, July 6 by contacting April Vickers at (606) 669-7264. Speakers will be present, a light lunch will be served and prizes will be given.

2018 Home Canning Series
The Lincoln County Extension Office is sponsoring a 2018 Home Canning Series. Dill pickles will be the first canning session. It will be held Thursday, June 21 at 10 a.m. at the extension office.

Home School Information Meeting
The Christian Home Education Network will be hosting a Home School Information Meeting on Thursday, July 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Lincoln County Public Library. Information about homeschooling requirements in Kentucky, curriculum choices, and local group activities will be shared.

Kentucky Derby Museum Day
Kentucky Derby Museum Day at the Lincoln County Public Library Thursday, June 21. At 5 p.m. there will be a hands on and interactive family program. At 6 p.m. there will be a more in-depth look at the history of the Kentucky Derby and the impact on the state. This is free and open to the public.

LC Farmers Market
Lincoln County Farmers Market is now open through October 31 at the Veterans Ball Park (less that 1/4 mile on Hwy 150 going toward Crab Orchard on left) The market will be open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. or sold out.

Lunch-N-Learn
Honey Bee Day lunch-n-learn will be at noon Friday, June 22 at Lincoln County Extension Office. Guest speaker is Dr. Tammy Horn Potter, Kentucky Apiarist. You will learn the value of honey bees to the community, how to prepare foods using honey, how you can impact the decline in honey bees, about pollination and how honey bees impact our local food supply and our health.

Wednesday Family Artworks
Wednesday Family Artworks is Wednesday, June 27 at 11 a.m. Participants will create a Sports Picture Button. Young children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information, call the library at (606) 365-7513.

The Lincoln County Health Department will be closed on Wednesday, June 27 for a staff meeting.

The Lincoln County Health Department will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day holiday.

Fresenius Kidney Care grand opening
The grand opening and ribbon cutting for Fresenius Kidney Care, Dialysis Center will be Tuesday, June 26, from 4-7 p.m. Ribbon cutting is at 4:30 p.m. The Center is located at 29 Frontier Blvd., in the old Food Lion Building. Come tour this state of the art facility, enjoy some light refreshments and network with other community and business leaders.

Blood drives
Kentucky Blood Center (KBC) is celebrating 50 years of saving Kentucky lives and to commemorate that special anniversary, the blood center is giving away a 2018 Toyota 4-Runner to one lucky blood donor this summer. The first blood drive is tonight (June 21) from 1-6 p.m. in the fellowship room at the Stanford Presbyterian Church, 213 East Main and the second is Monday, July 2 from 3-7 p.m. in the cafeteria at the Crab Orchard Elementary School, 137 Lancaster Street. Donors will receive a T-shirt and be automatically entered to win the Toyota 4-Runner. To schedule a donation, visit kybloodcenter.org or call 800-775-2522. Walk-ins are also welcome.

LCHS Class of 1983 to hold reunion
The Lincoln County High School Class of 1983 will hold its 35th reunion on Saturday, June 30 at the Cedar Creek Sportsman Club. The evening will have catered food, music and games. $10 per person. Mail fee to LCHS Class 1983, PO Box 475, Stanford, KY 40484.

Sports Film Screening
Lincoln County Library will be showing a classic baseball move on Thursday, June 28 at 5 p.m. Popcorn and drinks will be provided. This free and open to the public.
