The Lincoln County baseball team struggled in its first 45th District game Tuesday, with host Danville handing the Bat Patriots an 11-0 loss.

The Admirals (15-1) tagged 16 hits off Lincoln pitchers Jordan Brown and Shane Brown.

The Bat Patriots (1-11) got just one hit off Danville hurler Brady Morse.

The two teams went at it again Wednesday evening. Results were unavailable at press time.

Lincoln’s schedule over the next week includes a 6 p.m. game at South Laurel Friday, a home game with West Jessamine at noon Saturday, a 6 p.m. game at East Jessamine on Monday and back-to-back district games with Garrard County next Tuesday and Wednesday at home and then at Garrard. Both games start at 5:30 p.m.
