Georgia Ruth Adams, 82

Georgia Ruth Adams, 82, of Eubank, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at the Jean Waddle Care Center. 
Born July 5, 1934, Georgia was a daughter of the late Walter Thompson and Amanda Alexander Finch. She was a homemaker and attended Friendship Old Regular Baptist Church. She loved her family, flowers, and gardening. 
Survivors include her husband, Paul Adams, whom she married on September 13, 1956; one son, Robert (Angie) Adams of Woodstock, Ga.; two daughters, Donna (Jim) Horton of Brentwood, Tenn., and Linda (Danny) Blevins of Eubank; one sister, Elizabeth Chapman of Pass Christian, Miss.; six grandchildren, Joe Horton, Aaron (Megan) Belcher, Carrie (Steve) Camp, Amanda (Hunter) Hurd, Heather (Alex) Cole and Shane Adams; eight great-grandchildren, Hayden and Kaylynn Belcher, Callie and Wyatt Camp, Easton and Reese Hurd and Caleb and Judah Cole. 
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Thompson; and two sisters, Netta Thompson and Joyce Thompson. 
Funeral services were Saturday, November 26, at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Emory Caudill officiating. Burial was in  Friendship Cemetery.
