Lady Patriot soccer ties Southwestern

The Lincoln County girls soccer team ended its 12th Region matchup with Southwestern in a 2-2 tie.
Freshman Payton Byrd scored first for Lincoln to get the Lady Patriots on the scoreboard and senior Kennedy Kirkpatrick scored the team’s other goal.
Southwestern’s Alexis Walden and Gabbie Rowe contributed a goal apiece.
Taylor Prewitt was in goal for Lincoln in the game. She had 14 saves.
Bella Nalle was in goal for Southwestern. She had 10 saves.
Lincoln played at 45th District rival Boyle County Tuesday and fell 3-0.
