STANFORD ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Students were treated to a different learning method when a program called Feeding Kentucky, A STEM Adventure and a Mobile Science Bus, paid a visit to the school.
The elementary students were allowed to visit each of the nine learning centers that taught about agriculture including grinding wheat to make flour, making barges to ship grain, bees pollinating flowers, apple math, nutrition, designing a pig puzzle, what seed produces which plant, and others.
Members of the Lincoln County High School Future Farmers of America Chapter taught the students at each of the learning centers.
The fourth-grade class also got to visit the Mobile Science Bus where they were taught about soil erosion.
