Miller “Mac” Wilson McCormack

1936-2021

McCormack

Miller “Mac” Wilson McCormack was born on May 14, 1936 in Stanford, Kentucky to parents Miller E. McCormack and Ella W. McCormack, and joined our Lord and Savior on August 1, 2021.

Mac was a devout Christian, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a veteran of the US Navy and Air Force and retired as a Senior Master Sergeant after 24 years of military service. He worked for another 20 years as an accountant in the aviation industry in Miami before retiring to Naples.

Mac dedicated his life as a humble servant of the Lord, a member and Stephen Ministry ambassador at North Naples Church, board member for the Foundation for Historic McCormack Meetinghouse, and a staple leader in his community.

While on this earth, you never caught him without a smile, a joke and a helping hand. Mac was a valued Board of Trustees Member at the St. Matthew’s House and a regular volunteer in the Guadalupe Soup Kitchen. Mac was preceded in death by sons Bruce Miller McCormack, Mark Douglas McCormack and David Ross Tucker. He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline

McCormack, his children and their spouses, Wayne and Peggy, Kevin and Nicole, James and Susan, Debra and Robert, his thirteen grandchildren, Mallorie, Zachary, Nathan, Brandy, Will, Casey, Shelby, Tanner, Samuel, Britany, Tony, Kailee, and Alexis, his five great grandchildren, a host of nieces and nephews, and former spouse Virginia Walker. Mac will be remembered as a devoted Christian, a loving family patriarch, and faithful friend. In lieu of flowers, his family suggests gifts in Mac’s memory to St. Matthew’s House, North Naples Church, or McCormack

Christian Church. The Celebration of Life service for Mac McCormack will take place on Saturday, August 14th at 11am at 6000 Goodlette Frank Road, Naples, Fl 34109 (North Naples Church).
