Lincoln County High School’s 4-H Service Club held a service marathon after school on Sept. 12. More than 30 students met after school and used donated, old t-shirts to create dog-chew toys. The students cut the t-shirts into inch-wide strips, then knotted, and braided three of those strips together and braiding three sets together. The service marathon lasted until 7 p.m.
Members made more than 130 dog toys that will be donated to local animal shelters.
