Patricia Helton Rochester, 87, of Mooresville, North Carolina, died June 23, 2023. She was born April 15 1936, in Benham, Kentucky, the first child of the late John (Jack) and Myrtle Helton. Her childhood and schooling through high school were in Benham, Kentucky. Then she lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Missouri as mother and pastor’s wife. From 1968 – 1972 she studied at the St. Louis College of Pharmacy and after graduation moved to Pittsburgh with her family and practiced as a pharmacist until her retirement in 2000. After 1999 she pursued her art hobby during the winters in Ft. Meyers, Florida, Crown Point, Indiana, and Mooresville, North Carolina. She was active in the First Presbyterian Church of Mooresville. 

Surviving her are her son John Craig Rochester of Boston, Massachusetts, and daughters Elizabeth Ann Miller of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and Nancy Leigh Rochester of Mooresville, North Carolina. She is also survived by her sister Nancy O’Neal of Cincinnati, Ohio. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM, May 11, 2024 at the Stanford Presbyterian Church, 213 East Main Street, Stanford, Kentucky. Interment will be a public ceremony at Buffalo Springs cemetery, 630 KY-78, Stanford, KY 40484. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Stanford Presbyterian Church, Main St., Stanford, KY, P.O. Box 180, 40484.
