Doris Jean Milbern Tinsley, 89, of Lexington, formerly of Fairfield, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024. Born June 10, 1934, in McKinney, KY, she was the daughter of the late Joda and Rexie Baugh Milbern. In addition to her parents, Doris was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Denver Tinsley; brother, Daniel Milbern, sister-in-law, Norma Milbern; and brother-in-law, Vernon Norris. 

She is survived by a sister, Dotty Norris of Lexington; niece, Jackie (David) Browning of Lexington; nephews: Joel (Frazann) Milbern of Lexington, Tad (Dee) Norris of Winchester, and Joda (Annhall) Norris of Danville; and great nieces and nephews: Danielle Milbern, Lee Browning and Christopher Browning, all of Lexington, and Sabree Norris and Riley Norris, both of Danville. 

Doris retired from Society Bank in Hamilton, Ohio after working there for 45 years. She and her late husband loved to travel and enjoyed their dog babies. 

Visitation is 11am-1pm, Friday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Hustonville, KY. Funeral Service will follow at 1 pm with Rev. Joe Cooper officiating. Pallbearers are Joel Milbern, Tad Norris, Joda Norris, Lee Browning, Christopher Browning, and Riley Norris. Burial will be at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, Kentucky.
