Lincoln County High School sophomores Apaar Kabra and Nolan Roberts were accepted into The Craft Academy for Excellence in Science and Mathematics.
Craft Academy provides students with a postsecondary residential experience to complete their junior and senior years of high school by enrolling in college courses. It is housed on the campus of Morehead State University, which is consistently ranked as one of the safest campuses in the Commonwealth.
The Academy opened in August 2015, with the goal of meeting the unique educational needs of academically gifted and talented high school juniors and seniors in the Commonwealth. A college-level curriculum allows students to finish high school while also completing up to two years of university coursework.
Apaar is a member of the LCHS soccer team and the class reporter for the sophomore class. He also participates in FBLA, Beta Club and FBLA.
Nolan is also an active student at LCHS participating in FBLA, Beta Club and 4-H. He also enjoys blogging in his free time.
