The Interior Journal is pleased to announce Casey Roberts as its newest reporter.
Roberts provided the following written statement introducing himself to the community:
“Hello, readers of The Interior Journal! I am honored and excited beyond words to announce that I have joined our beloved local newspaper as your new reporter.
As a proud 2015 graduate of Lincoln County High School and a holder of a communications degree from the University of Kentucky, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to serve the community that raised me. Over the past three years, I’ve worked as an editor. Now, I’m eager to transition into this new role, reporting on the news, events, and sports that matter most to Lincoln County.
Lincoln County isn’t just where I’m from—it’s where my heart lies. I understand the importance of local news and the vital role it plays in keeping a community connected and informed. I take it as a personal responsibility to ensure that The Interior Journal continues to provide the timely and thorough coverage our readers deserve.
As I step into this role, I also want to emphasize how much I value the input of our community. Your stories, events, and experiences are what make Lincoln County so special. I welcome and encourage tips, leads, and suggestions from all of you. Together, we can ensure that The Interior Journal remains a true reflection of our community.
You can reach me anytime at casey.roberts@bluegrassnewsmedia.com or by phone at 606-669-3901. I look forward to connecting with you and telling the stories that matter most to Lincoln County.”
