Shelby goes to the Humane Society
By Haley McElroy & Chase Taylor
First we would like to thank the Humane Society for the tour they gave us. We really loved the animals that you showed us. The trip was so informative. There is so much stuff that goes into the humane society. We learned why they bring animals in, how many animals were in, and the adoption fee.
People bring in animals for all kinds of reasons. If they are strays or if the family is moving and can’t take care of them anymore. The Humane society will take the animal. The animals get fixed if they are in there for a long time. Then they can get adopted which cost different amounts.
Thank you for letting us pet the cats. The one that we liked the most was your cat. The other pets are really cool too. When we grow up we’re going to help with animals.
We really enjoyed the humane society. That was the first time that we went to the humane society. One day we will volunteer at a humane society. It was so excited.
In conclusion, thank you for the tour that you gave us. It was really cool that you showed us the animals and we hope that you get a home for the animals. Thank you again.
