The Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association held its 88th annual conference in Bowling Green Sept. 10-15. This year’s conference was very well attended with over 100 sheriffs in attendance and over 150 sheriffs and deputies participating in 40 hours of training.

According to Jerry Wagner, Executive Director of the Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association, “Lincoln County Sheriff Curt Folger was elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association in 2018.”

“It is both an honor and a privilege to work with the Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association. Sheriff Folger is most deserving and has always represented Kentucky Sheriffs in a positive manner. I feel sure he will continue to stand for Kentucky Sheriffs, along with the citizens of Lincoln County and the Commonwealth during his tenure. The KSA strives to better the Office of Sheriff by keeping Sheriffs abreast of what is going in the law enforcement community with ongoing training and legislation, which helps in serving Kentucky’s citizens,” added Wagner.

Wagner said, “We would like to congratulate Sheriff Folger on being re-elected to the Board of Directors. We look forward to a great year and hope everyone will lend their hand in support of and congratulations to Sheriff Folger.”
