Thomas Herman Adams, 76

Thomas Herman Adams, 76, of Brodhead, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 3, at his residence.

Born in Crab Orchard, Ky., on January 7, 1941, Tom was a son of the late Roscoe and Dollie (McClure) Adams. He was the husband of Emily (Day) Adams whom he married on March 14, 1964. Tom was a retired truck driver for the Lincoln County Road Department. He loved fishing and riding his four wheeler.

Survivors include his faithful and loving wife of 53 years, Emily Adams of Brodhead; daughter, Connie Lynn and husband Robert Johnson of Lexington; son, Tommy Adams and wife Tonya of Crab Orchard; daughter, Missy and husband Randy Moore of Somerset; brother, Everett Adams and wife Evelyn of Crab Orchard; brother, Homer Adams and wife Veretta of West Chester, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Josh and wife Ashley, Jon and wife Sarah, Todd, Landon, Caleb, Kayla and husband J.C., Sarah and husband Coy and Samantha and husband Daniel; six great grandchildren, Colt, Cace, Abby, Kendall, Jasper and Ella.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by brothers, Carlos, Charles and Ed Adams and three infant brothers.

Funeral services were Saturday, Oct. 7 at McKnight Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Marshall Malone and Bro. Donald Lear officiating. Burial followed in the Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery.

Visitation was after 5 p.m. on Friday, October 6, at McKnight Funeral Home.

Active pallbearers were Steve Spears, Josh Hayes, Jon Moore, J.C. McClure, Coy Robinson and Daniel Gray.

Honorary pallbearers were Pearl Day and Robert Day.
